Let it go or stay stuck

Most people say they want freedom.

But they’re still holding onto everything that’s keeping them stuck.

The past.
The anger.
The habits.
The fear.

All of it.
And then they wonder why nothing changes.

Trust me, I know this all too well. This was me a few years ago – exhausted from trying to control the outcome of everything.
The minute I realized that God was in control and I just needed to do the work, things completely changed for me.
I realized that I wasn't supposed to carry it anymore. I never was.

You can't carry it and move forward

At some point, you have to make a decision.
You can keep holding onto what’s familiar…or you can move toward something better.
You don’t get both. You don’t carry the weight and step into something new at the same time.

You have to let go of what's holding you back.

You have to be willing to make the hard decisions and walk away from what might feel comfortable.
This is the hardest part of this process.

It’s letting go.

Letting go of what you thought your life would look like. Of people who don’t align with you anymore. Letting go of that version of you that’s comfortable – but stuck.

That’s the part nobody wants to talk about.
Because it’s uncomfortable. It requires honesty. It forces you to face what you’ve been avoiding.

Most people won't do it

Not because they can’t.
Because they won’t release what’s in the way. They stay where it’s predictable – even when it’s not fulfilling.
They’ll say they want more. But they won’t let go of what’s holding them back.

Freedom Has a Price

You want peace?
You want clarity?
You want to actually feel like you’re moving forward?

Then you have to let it go.

Not just the obvious things.

Everything.

The grudges you justify.
The control you cling to.
The need to have it all figured out before you move.

That’s the price.

And when you do, the clarity you’ve been searching for will start to show.

Give it to God and let the rest go.

You’re not meant to carry everything on your own.
You’re not meant to control every outcome.

At some point, you have to trust.

Trust that there’s a bigger plan.
Trust that what’s meant for you won’t pass you.
Trust that letting go isn’t losing – it’s making space.

Give it to God. Then get to work.

Do the work that's yours to do

Letting go doesn’t mean doing nothing. There's no responsibility in that approach.
It means releasing what you can’t control…and focusing on what you can.
Your discipline. Your habits. Your effort.
That’s your responsibility.
That’s where your freedom starts to take shape.

Stay stuck or move forward

It’s simple – but it’s not easy. It's your choice.
You either keep holding on…or you let go and move forward.
There’s no in-between.
You say you want freedom. This is how you get it.

For the ones ready to let go – I see you.
